This design of mossy hides has a large opening with smaller openings around the hide for snugger entrances. We've used these hides for snakes and geckos. You can turn them on their sides or set them with the large opening facing down to make your reptile feel more secure in the hides. We have also used them in arboreal enclosures, using zip ties to suspend them from the screen of the enclosure. The mossy hide is made with a metal, rust resistant frame wrapped in sphagnum moss. They are great for holding humidity.
