These bamboo bridges are made custom. They are made out of bamboo and paracord making them mold resistant and great for humid enclosures as well as desert enclosures. As long as the bridge has a chance to dry out each day, there will be no issue. If you have an enclosure that stays above 80% humidity and has very little airflow, we recommend the full paracord bridges instead. The 2.5" width is perfect for younger geckos and smaller species of lizards, including: Day Geckos, Anoles, and Young Crested Geckos. A Juvenile Crested Gecko is what is pictured on the bridge. The Bridge width is 2.5" with the two end pieces being 4". If you want the bridge to be all 2.5", please put it in the notes. These can also make a great addition to a enclosed fairy garden. These bridges come with either suction cups that hold up to 3lbs or small animal clips (both pictured in the last photo). Please be sure to specify in the notes which one you would like to come with your bridge. Because these bridges are made by hand, sizing can vary, all bridges will be at least the size listed. When I measure these bridges, I measure from Bamboo end to Bamboo end. The loops add a total of around 2" to the bridge on the end. So, if you want a little bow to the bridge, we reccomend going with a size 1" smaller than what you want. If you want some bow to the bridge, then we reccomend getting the exact size of your enclosure. And if you want a super dramatic bow, then we reccomend going with something 1-2" more than the length of your tank.
**Bridges typically ship out within 5 days after the order is placed. If you ordered more than one bridge, it can take a few more days to complete your order.
**Bamboo comes in all sorts of widths and is cut down for these bridges. The pieces of bamboo may vary in color and size from stick to stick within the bridge. Because we cut them by hand, the ends may not always be a perfect straight cut. We always make sure that we smooth out any rough edges before using the bamboo in our bridges. There may be burn marks by the knotted edge of the bridge as well. We have to burn the paracord edges to round them off after completing the bridge, so sometimes the bamboo will have slight burns on it where the ends meet. We glue the bamboo to the paracord using a water and heat resistant glue that is 100% safe for reptiles and amphibians. This keeps the bamboo in place and extends the life of the bridge.
